Steely Dan lead singer faces domestic violence charges

report by CNN confirmed that Donald Fagen, the lead singer and co-founder of the famous rock band Steely Dan, was arrested on January 4 due to charges of misdemeanor assault and harassment. The incident happened in his New York City house. The address and age of the complainant matched that of his wife, Libby Titus, but the police incident report did not confirm whether or not she was the victim.

The incident report stated that the 68-year-old musician aggressively grabbed the arms of the woman and pushed her onto the bottom of a marble window frame inside the bedroom, which caused her to sustain bruising and swelling. A spokesperson mentioned that it was unknown whether the woman was treated for her injuries.

Fagen’s publicist refused to make a comment on the matter, as did his attorney, Adam Miller.
