Joseph Sharpe II is facing DWI charges after his vehicle struck a pole early Sunday morning on Country Club Road.

At approximately 1:00 in the morning, Sharpe was driving his 2011 Toyota Tacoma on the northbound lane of Country Club Road, when he suddenly lost control of his car for unknown reasons. The Toyota then left the roadway and crashed into a nearby utility pole. Investigators were called onto the scene after receiving a report of property damage. They later discovered Sharpe was intoxicated and had a BAC of 0.16 percent. Sharpe told the officers he was scratching off some lottery tickets prior to the accident. The driver of the vehicle was identified as 25-year-old Joseph Sharpe. He was a resident at Hunterbrook Apartments Road, Queensbury.

No injuries were reported following the crash.
