I-95 traffic stop prompts drug arrests

A traffic stop for a suspected speeding violation on I-95 resulted in the arrests of two 24-year-old’s, both residents of Connecticut, on drug-related charges, the Macro Insider reported on January 2.

State troopers pulled Savannah Williams over at around 3:10 p.m. on Thursday. After a quick investigation, authorities came to believe she was driving under the influence of drugs. Her passenger Adam Stetson, meanwhile, was found to be in possession of an unidentified amount of LSD, 5 grams of ecstasy, 2 grams of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

Williams was immediately arrested for a misdemeanor charge. Meanwhile, Stetson was held at the Westchester County Jail after being arraigned in the New Rochelle City Court. He is facing multiple felony drug possession charges and two misdemeanor counts and is due back in the court this Monday.
