The state police arrested a 46-year-old man from Yonkers due to possession of controlled substances and drug paraphernalia, syracuse.com reported on February 9.
Around 11:15 p.m. on Thursday, police pulled over the car of Stuart E. Newman while driving on the New York State Thruway. After failing field sobriety checks, Newman was found in possession of drug paraphernalia and a variety of drugs, including Dimethyltryptamine, Molly, LSD, and Xanax, among others.
Newman is now detained in the Westchester County jail over felony charges of third and fourth-degree criminal possession of controlled substance, and misdemeanor charges of second-degree illegal possession of drug paraphernalia and seventh-degree illegal possession of controlled substance.
