Ossining man arrested for DWI

A 39-year-old Ossining man has been arrested after a wrong-way car crash that happened on Friday night, February 28, according to a report by The Beacon Review.

Just after 10:30 p.m., 911 received calls from several drivers reporting a Chevy Tahoe heading north in the southbound lane of Route 9A. According to the authorities, Neil Prabhu entered the roadway at Route 117 and drove against the traffic flow for about a mile and a half. He then collided with another vehicle just near the entrance to the Taconic Parkway. One person was rushed to the hospital with non-fatal injuries. Prabhu, meanwhile, was charged with one misdemeanor count of DWI. He was released on a bail of $100.
