Man charged with DWI after driving the wrong way

A man was charged with a felony count of first degree reckless endangerment, and misdemeanors DWI and aggravated DWI for driving the wrong way while intoxicated on the Hutchinson River Parkway, Lohud reported on April 27.

At 3:27 a.m., authorities begun receiving reports about a car driving south down the street’s northbound lanes. The driver eventually U-turned and was driving the correct direction, but police were already in pursuit. It took the driver a mile before he pulled over on I-684.
