Brian Dolan

Junior Associate

Brian J. Dolan is a Junior Associate attorney (pending admission) with Portale Randazzo LLP and joined the firm in 2020. His practice is focused on criminal defense and post-conviction relief.

Previous Experience

Mr. Dolan began his legal career in 2019 as a judicial law clerk to Associate Justice Thomas E. Humphrey of the Maine Supreme Judicial Court, Maine’s highest appellate court. During his time there, he worked on a wide variety of civil and criminal matters. He became well‑versed in the intricacies of appellate practice and procedure and honed his research and writing skills.

Education & Personal Life

Mr. Dolan attended SUNY Geneseo as an undergraduate, then earned his J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law, where he was a staff member of the St. John’s Law Review and graduated on the Dean’s List in the top 20% of his class.

When he is not practicing law, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, as well as playing soccer and tennis, snowboarding, reading, and watching sports.
